LCS Insight Mobile is used by authorized Legacy Claims appraisers to review assignments, capture inspection photos, and sync field documentation to the LCS Insight platform. This policy explains what information the mobile app uses and how it is handled.
Information we use
- Account information such as your name, email address, and work contact details.
- Assignment information required to perform claim and appraisal work.
- Photos, labels, notes, timestamps, and related upload metadata captured inside the app.
- Device identifiers and push notification tokens used for secure sign-in sessions and assignment alerts.
- Connectivity and queue status information needed to retry uploads when service returns.
How we use information
- Authenticate appraisers and protect access to assignment data.
- Display assigned files and required photo steps.
- Upload and store claim photos, notes, and related field evidence.
- Support offline queueing and retry-safe sync behavior.
- Send assignment dispatch notifications to devices that opt in to push notifications.
- Monitor service reliability, prevent duplicate uploads, and support internal operations.
Photo and camera access
The app requests camera and photo-library permissions so appraisers can capture or attach claim photos as part of their assignment workflow. Photos selected or captured in the app are used only for claim processing and related internal business operations.
Face ID and fingerprint sign-in
If you turn on biometric sign-in, your device confirms your identity using Face ID or fingerprint. LCS Insight never receives or stores your biometric data. It only receives a yes or no from your device.
Microphone and speech recognition
The app can use your microphone to let you label photos by voice. Audio is used only to turn your spoken label into text, using your device's built-in speech recognition service (Apple or Google). It is not recorded or stored by LCS Insight.
Push notifications
If enabled, push notifications are used to alert appraisers about newly dispatched assignments and related mobile workflow events. Notification permissions can be managed in the device settings.
Data sharing
Information submitted through the app may be shared within Legacy Claims and with authorized business parties involved in claim processing, appraisal review, insurance workflows, and supporting technology operations. We do not sell personal information collected through the app.
Photos may be processed by an AI service provider acting on our behalf to suggest photo labels. The provider uses them only to return a label and does not use them to train its models or for any other purpose.
Data retention
Data is retained according to Legacy Claims business, legal, operational, and customer obligations. Local offline queue data remains on the device only as needed to complete sync.
